The Bouncing Betty are a seven piece 80’s hits cover band based in Columbus, MS, and the Golden Triangle’s premiere party band for private events, weddings, and club gigs.
The current members are – Mark Ellis on Rhythm Guitar, Tabatha Pollard on Lead Vocals, Brad Sims on Keyboards and Backing Vocals, Natalie Staggers on Backing Vocals, Robert Staggers on Drums, David Taylor on Lead Guitar and Vocals, and Steve Wallace on Bass.
The band was formed in 2015 by Mark Ellis and Robert Staggers, who set out to create a first-rate, high-energy party band that would focus on the fans and local community involvement. Since then, the Betties have honed their craft, playing countless shows, parties, festivals, and charity events, and are known for their catchy vocals, soaring guitar leads, ace rhythm section, and dogged pursuit to entertain. With combined experience spanning well over a century, the Betties have developed a finely-tuned, yet breezy approach that highlights fan satisfaction and a fun, engaging party atmosphere for everyone.
They are currently accepting bookings and would be happy to speak with you about making your next event one to remember.
“They’ve got that rare ability to make you lose yourself in the music, to transport you to a time when hairspray was abundant and neon ruled the world. The Betties bring a whole lotta fire, a whole lotta boom, and a whole lotta rock ‘n’ roll. But don’t get too close, folks. They’re not responsible for melted faces.”
